Agnes A. Hantz (Leduc) passed on peacefully at Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk, WI on July 3, 2010. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and her friends. She had been a master gardener, had enjoyed reading, knitting, and most recently playing bingo and dragon flies. She was born March 31, 1922, in Wausau, WI to the late Ernest and Agnes Leduc. She married Joseph H. Hantz in 1947 and later divorced who preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister: Sister Agnesita Leduc, Lacrosse, WI; and one brother: Joseph Leduc, New Mexico. eight children: John (Jane) Hantz, Kapaa, HI; Dave (Jen) Hantz, Madison, WI; Sher (David Verhagen) Brandl, Depere, WI; Patti Anderson, St. Petersburg, FL.; Cindy (Doug) Johnson, Tacoma, WA; Karen (Rick Bergemann) Hantz-Bergemann, Madison, WI; Kathy (Dave) Verga, Tomahawk, WI; Peg (Dan) Fowler, Georgetown, TX. One foster child: Peter (Marjorie) Van Beek, Madison, WI. Four grandchildren include: Laurel (Jesse) Severance, Flintville, WI, Rosa and Sally Verhagen, Depere, WI, and Sean Hantz, Las Vegas, NV. Five great grandchildren: Nicole, Tina, Camille, Nicholas, Kappa, HI and Rosebella, Madison, WI. Preceding her in death were 3 brothers: James, Ernst and Charles Leduc and one sister Lucille. A private family service will be held at a later date. At this time we would like to thank the staff at St Mary's Hospital, the staff at Golden Age Nursing Home, Father John Anderson, Elaine from Village Square and the many, many friends that helped us cope through this difficult time.
