Albert Musch

Albert D. Musch, 83, of 415 S. Tomahawk Ave., Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Riverview Health Services.

“Pea Soup”, as he was called, was born May 19, 1935 in Tomahawk to Fred and Vera (Buchanan) Musch. He was married to Lorraine Halverson on May 28, 1960 also in Tomahawk, she passed away in 1998. Al was employed at the Lincoln County Highway Department for almost 40 years. He retired in 1998. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, and playing cards, especially cribbage. He had also worked at the Green Box Road recycling center for the town of Bradley for a number of years. Pea Soup was an avid Brewer and Packer fan and dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Bob Musch of Wausau; Sheila (Rick) Marquardt, of Wausau; and Julie (Jim) Smith of Tomahawk; a sister, Marilee “Peach” (Gary) Randall of Tomahawk and a special niece, Susan (Rick) Wolf of Wausau.  Pea Soup is further survived by 2 grandchildren, Dustin (Paulette) Smith and Amber Smith all of Tomahawk and 3 great grandchildren, Kali, Clayton, and Dawson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lorraine, brother, Philip, and sisters, Barbara, Bev, and Dorothy.

Funeral Services for Albert Musch will be held on Monday, May 6, 11:00 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Sunday, May 5th from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and again at the church Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
