Albert W. “Bud” Jurgens, III age 84 of Minocqua, WI died on Monday, July 10th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Al was born on April 9, 1933 in Chicago, IL the son of Albert W. and Frances (nee Edinger) Jurgens Jr. Al proudly served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. He married Kallie Ann Taylor on September 11, 1958 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in El Paso, TX, they’ve been married for 58 years and 10 months.
Al worked as a Pipefitter/Welder with Local Union 597, Chicago for 44 years. He was an active and dedicated member of the Island City Masonic Lodge #330, the Shriners and the OES Chapter in Eagle River, WI. Al loved fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife; Kallie Ann of Minocqua, WI and Son; John (Suzanne) Jurgens of Elkhorn, WI and by 6 Grandchildren; Becky, Leah, Lauren, Rachel, Cassandra and Carolyn and by Great Grandchildren; J.J., Sophia, Jam, Harper, Evelyn, Loralie and Collin and by his Brother; Tom (Kathy) Jurgens of Custer Park, IL and Sister-in-law; Marlene Jurgens of Batavia, IL and by many nieces, nephews, Grandnephews and Grandniece and by other relatives in Texas and Illinois.
Al was preceded in death by his Parents; Albert Jr. and Frances and by 3 Sons; Richard, Michael and Chuck and by Granddaughters; Nicole and Sarah Jean and by his Brother; Robert Jurgens.
Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, July 17th from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Service at 1:30 PM with Masonic services and Military honors being performed.
