Albert J. Williams, age 86, N11445 Cty. Rd. A, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Al was born January 2, 1924 in Graceville, Minnesota, the son of Clyde and Alice (Young) Williams. He married Leona Scheuermann on January 12, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri; she passed away August 13, 2000. Al was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1962. He then went to work for Harley Davidson in Tomahawk from 1962 until his retirement in 1981. He was a member and past president of the Tomahawk Lions Club and member and past president of the Clear Lake Condo Owners' Association. Al was also a 32nd degree Mason with the Valley of Eau Claire Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, wife - Leona, an infant son - Michael, and a sister - Frances.
Funeral Services for Al Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 1st from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
