Alberta M. Orlowski, age 96, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Bell Tower in Merrill.
Alberta was born on September 9, 1912 in Tomahawk to Wilbur and Louise (Major) Morin. She married Chester E. Orlowski on August 17, 1933 in Tomahawk; he passed away in 1981. Alberta was a charter member of the Red Cross Volunteers in Tomahawk, had volunteered at local nursing homes for over 40 years and while a resident at Bell Tower for past 10 years, she volunteered to help with the "old people." Alberta was a life-long member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk and a member of the Catholic Women's Club.

Alberta is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son - Jim, 2 grandchildren, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alberta Orlowski will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson and Fr. Edward Powell will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home Friday evening June 26th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; a parish vigil service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of Mass at 1:30 p.m.
