Anna M. Crowell, 84, of 701 S. Roosevelt Street, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, April 19. 2020 surrounded by her family and under the care of Ascension Hospice.
Anna was born on April 29, 1935 in Merrill to Oscar and Anna Margaret (Jensen) Larson. She was united in marriage to Leland W. Crowell on September 17, 1955 in Merrill. He passed away in 2012. Anna was very active in the Covenant Church of Tomahawk and later the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She had enjoyed bible study groups and had taught Sunday school. She volunteered at local nursing homes and assisted living centers. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, crossword puzzles, and especially family gatherings. Anna was also an amazing cook, baker, and enjoyed following the Packers and Brewers.
Survivors include four children; Dale Crowell, Gary (Donna) Crowell, Shari Priebe all of Tomahawk, and Mary (Greg) Gane of Wausau. One sister, Mary Ruth Tesch of Port Edwards. Anna is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leland, and 8 siblings.
The Memorial Service for Anna Crowell will take place at 11AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Memorials made in Anna's name may be made to the Tomahawk Salvation Army.
