Anna Wells

Anna M. Wells, age 84, 428 N. 6th St., Tomahawk, passed away October 4, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Anna was born July 28, 1925 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Julius and Aurilla (Hinkley) Schmidt. She married Roy Wells on January 3, 1943 in Waukegan, Illinois; he passed away in 1997. Anna formerly worked for Chicago Title Insurance for many years. She enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: 2 sons Terry (Lousie) Wells Meridian, Mississippi Todd Wells Tomahawk Anna is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service for Anna Wells will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
