Anthony Charles “Buster” Poupart Sr. age 69 of Lac du Flambeau, WI died on Friday, October 31st at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. Buster was born on August 18, 1945 in Lac du Flambeau, WI the son of Thomas and Dorothy (nee Bluejacket) Poupart. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Mary Brown on June 10, 1978 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Buster worked for the Fish Hatchery as a Technician for numerous years before retiring. He was a member of the Chicog-Skye American Legion Post 374 and enjoyed the Casino, Carvings and Paintings.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Suzie” Poupart and by Children: Charles Bluejacket Poupart, James Willis Poupart, Anthony Charles Poupart Jr., Robin Alexander Poupart and by Grandchildren: Holly Poupart, Julisa Poupart, Samantha Poupart, David Pounder, Bineshii Poupart, Charles Bluejacket Poupart Jr., and Elizabeth Ann Poupart. Further survived by his Siblings: Flora LaBelle, Cappy Landin, Thomas Poupart, Biff Poupart and Peter Poupart and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Brothers: Edward and James Poupart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th at Veterans Building in Lac du Flambeau, WI starting at 4:00 PM and Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Military Honors to follow at the church.
