Ardythe "Ardy" D. (May) Arnold, 84, passed away on June 2, 2024. She was born in Prentice, Wisconsin on August 3, 1939, to Glendee and Anna May. Ardy lived life to the fullest. She had many business ventures over the years. As a knowledgeable, gifted seamstress, she owned Sew Unique in Cambridge, Minnesota. She later used her passion and creativity and worked as an interior designer. Her love for adventure led her to travel Alaska as a writer for The Milepost, an Alaskan travel guide published yearly. Ardy traveled much of the world and spent time exploring the United States in her RV. She greatly enjoyed the time she spent living on her own yacht in California. Ardy was extremely proud of her Swedish heritage and was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit her extended family in Sweden and maintained those cherished relationships throughout the years. She was a woman of devout faith and was active in her home church, Living Word Church in Mesa, Arizona. She moved to Tallmadge, Ohio in January 2023. She made many new friends at Danbury Assisted Living where she participated in bingo, various outings and enjoyed the musical entertainment. But more than anything else, she enjoyed dancing with her special friend and dance partner Ed. Other hobbies included crafting, pressing leaves and flowers and painting with watercolors. Ardy will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving son Brad (Sherri) Tews; grandchildren Cassandra Tews, Jaclyn (Scott) Schloesser, Josephine (Jon) Porter, Raegan and Ivy Yuncker; great grandchildren Lorah, Ben, Owen, Max, Liam, Adalyn; siblings Glenda (Larry) Sophia, Allan (Joan) May; many nieces and nephews.
