Arlene Arquette, 83, of Catawba, WI, passed away peacefully at Clark County Rehab & Living Center on July 30, 2021. She was born on June 18, 1938, in Catawba, WI, to George and Esther (Droese) Fuchs.
She married Alvin Arquette on October 6, 1956, and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Together they raised 7 children. Arlene worked at Prentice Head Start for 29 years. She loved spending time with family and friends, but her greatest love was the Lord.
She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters, James (Dawn) of Sheldon, WI, Jerald of Phillips, WI, Joseph of Catawba, WI, Jeffrey of Colorado Springs, CO, Joyce (Brian) of Woodruff, WI, Jayne (Scott) of Phillips, WI; as well as 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Fox and George Jr. (Jean) Fox; sisters, Betty (Howie) Otto, Lorraine Hause, and Marge Nierode; 3 sisters-in-law; as well as son-in-law, Mark Petty (fianceé, Tianna Tesmer).
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; daughter, Julie Petty; daughter-in-law, Tammy Arquette; parents; brothers, Bob, Bill, Paul, and Don Fuchs; sisters, Dorothy Lallemont, Martha Bauer, Mildred Cicha, Clara Blaskowski, Florence Kosterman; and infant brother and sister.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home, 304 N. Avon Ave., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A private family burial will follow.
