Arnold Joseph Parus

Arnold Joseph “Arnie” Parus, age 86 of Minocqua, WI died on Friday, May 26th at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI. Arnie was born on August 5, 1930 in Chicago, IL the son of Frank and Thilda (nee Wyporek) Parus. He served in the US Navy and graduated from Bradley University. Arnold married Helen Magee on April 19, 1953, she preceded him in death on October 24, 2005.
Arnie was district and division Manager for Amoco Oil Company for many years. He was President of Chicago Petroleum Club, member of Society of Lubrication Engineers and Delta Upsilon Fraternity, active representative of the Boy Scouts of America, proud member of the Up North Model A Club and Knights of Columbus member at Holy Family Catholic Church.
He is survived by his Daughter; Nancy (Ed) Tobey and Son; Bill (Karen Olkowski) and by his Grandchildren: Trevor (Chelsea) Lee, Noel (Rich McWilliams), Grace (Chris) Neff and Victoria Parus and by Great-Grandchildren: Evan and Samuel Lee and Jaycee Mack-Neff and Crosby Neff.
Funeral Services for Arnold will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 12:00 Noon at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a visitation from 11:00 AM till time of service. Burial will follow services at Minocqua Memorial Cemetery.
