Avery G Smith

Avery G. Smith, age 73 of Land O’Lakes died on Tuesday, September 3rd at his residence. Avery was born on October 27, 1939 the son of Russell and Vera (nee Eastman) Smith. Avery graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Accounting. He owned and operated Avery Smith, CPA in the Lakeland area from 1966 to 2003 and then retired and moved to Land O’Lakes, WI. Avery married Judith Fitz-Patrick on August 6, 1960 in Arlington Heights, IL. Avery enjoyed photography, building model trains and model wood ships. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; Judith of Land O’Lakes, WI and Daughters: Tracy (Jim) McCafferty of Minocqua, WI and Callie Weisman of Minocqua, WI and Son; Mark (Cherie) Smith of Lake Tomahawk, WI and by 5 Grandchildren: Shelby, Kelly, Kody, Bret and Jordan. Preceded in death by his parents and 1 Brother, Roger Smith. Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held.
