Barb Wydeven

Barbara Wydeven, age 83, of Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Riverview Health Services.

Barb was born on June 19, 1935 to George & Florence (Wright) Alery. During her working career she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Houns, was a dairy farmer and also worked in the office at Scaffidi Truck Center for 11 years. Barb was the proud mother of two children – Marcus & Leisa. Barb was also instrumental in beginning formation years of the Tomahawk Interfaith Volunteer organization volunteering to serve as the Treasurer on the Advisory Board. She was a great help setting up the accounts and organizing the pathway for the records needed at that time. She was a joy to know, worked hard to make sure TAIV was on the right track and a great asset for its beginnings.

Barb is survived by her daughter – Leisa Wydeven, her brother George Alery & her sister – Elsie Miller. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, son – Marcus Wydeven, sister – Karen and former husband – Jul Wydeven.

The Memorial Service for Barb Wydeven will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home from 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery in the spring.
