Barbara J. Andrus

Barbara J. Andrus, 73, of Phillips, passed away on September 23, 2023. Barbara was born on January 1, 1950, daughter of Frank J. Sr. and Jennie Novak, in Phillips. 

Barb married Patrick Andrus in Butternut on Nov. 8, 1969. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary and Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, wonderful mother, and the proudest grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She is survived by four children, Diane (Mark) Will of Prentice, Pennie (Rick) Wild of Winnemucca, NV, Lisa (Jason) Bleck, Winnemucca, NV, and Patrick Jr of Austin, MN; by grandchildren, Dani, Skylyr, Logan (Tom), Richie (Anna), Maya (Tristan), Chelsea (Crystal), Shayne, Raven, Dillon, and William; two great-granddaughters, Kitana and Kinsley; two great-grandsons, Ryder and Quintyn; siblings, Joe, Bob, and Tony of Phillips, WI, Bill of Fort Collins, CO, and Irma Neitzel of Hot Springs, AR; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Carden and Louise Klepac. 

Barb is preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Ag, Frank, John, and Jim. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home, 284 Chestnut Street, Phillips. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Lakeside II Cemetery in Phillips. The family requests that casual attire in the color blue for those attending the services.
