BARBARA ANN WARGA
Barbara A. “Babs” Warga. 76, Phillips passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls. She was born on March 29, 1938, in Phillips, the daughter of Laddie and Mamie (Zderad) Rehak. She spent her entire life in the Phillips area. She attended and graduated from Phillips High School, Class of 1956. She was married to Donald Warga on July 19, 1958, in Phillips. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2007. She and her husband Donald owned and operated Phillips Ford from 1974 to the present.
In her free time she enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities including gardening and landscaping, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
She was a charter member of the Phillips Chaparrals Snowmobile Club, and was a member of the Phillips Mainstreet Committee.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Traci (Jeff) Dunbar and Julie (Larry) Baratka all of Phillips, by 4 grandchildren: Jason (Kylee) Baratka and Jeffrey (Tami Williams) Baratka ,all of Phillips and Lacey (Al Severson) and Brandon (Nicole) Dunbar all of Wausau, Wi. by 3 great-grandchildren Kalin, Kinsy, and Kiana Baratka, by 1 brother: Gary (Kathy) Rehak Phillips, by 2 sisters: Dorothy “Dottie” Hoffman, Phillips, and Bonnie Burcaw, Minocqa and by 1 sister-in-law Delores Janssen, Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Donald, and by 2 brothers-in-Law Tom Hoffman and Steve Burcaw.
