Barbara Bishop

Barbara D. Bishop, age 72, of Tomahawk, passed away on March 6, 2016 in Indio, California. Barbara, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was born on January 15, 1944 in Glen Ellyn, IL to Peter and Louise Buchanan. She was married to Larry Bishop for 52 years. She loved sewing, gardening, skiing, spending time with her wonderful friends in Wausau, Racine, La Quinta, and the joys of her life-her grandchildren, including her favorite grand-dog. Over the years, Barbara has lived in Ohio, Connecticut, Wausau, and Racine, before finally settling in Tomahawk. She and her husband Larry spent summers in Tomahawk and winters in California. Barbara is survived by Husband, Larry Bishop Son, Peter Bishop Grandchildren, Nicole & Sam Bishop She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Peter Buchanan. A Funeral Mass for Barbara Bishop will take place at 11AM at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Visitation will take place from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM.
