BARBARA DAWN REVAK
Barbara Dawn Revak, 65, Phillips, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Marshfield Hospital from adenocarcinoma-lung cancer. She was born July 13, 1954, at Lapham’s Maternity Home in Phillips, the daughter of Erwin and Betty Nelson. Barb married Gary Revak on June 2, 1973 at Saint John Lutheran Church in Phillips and they were happily married for 46 years. She worked at Westwood Supper Club in Phillips for many years and eventually decided to go back to school for accounting. She graduated with honors and earned an Associate’s Degree. Barb went on to become the City Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Phillips, where she worked for 18 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, and her sons Aaron and Scott; grandchildren Brandon, Zoe, Jade, Michael, Kenny, Chris, and Brittany; three great grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, and Lara; and by two brothers, Brad and Keith Nelson, and their children and grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 there will be a “Celebration of Life” at some time in the future and all those that loved and respected her will be welcome to attend.
