BEATRICE BARBARA KYSELA
Beatrice B. Kysela. 77, passed away on Friday evening July 14, 2017 at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, after traveling the long road of Alzheimer’s. Her life partner Trudy Schragel was by her side.
Beaty, always a smile on her face, retired from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, after 37 years in the clinical chemistry laboratory as a Resource Coordinator. Her motto was “see one, do one, teach one.” After she retired she landed her dream job, becoming an usher for two years at Wrigley Field where she could watch the Cubs for free.
In 2010 Bea & Trudy retired to Phillips, Wisconsin into a house they built on the same spot as Bea’s parents Bess & Tom Kysela’s cabin had stood for 50 years.
Always smiles on her face for friends & strangers alike. Bea had an abundance of love for her sisters Blanche Baley, Westmont, Ill., and Dorothy McGrath, Naperville, Ill., her nieces, nephews their partners and children and Trudy’s family as well.
There will be a memorial mass at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Phillips, with Fr. Gerald Hagen officiating. Inurnment will be in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips at the foot of her Mother’s grave.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
A luncheon will follow at St. Therese’ s hall.
A memorial fund has been established .
