Bernie Payne, 83, of Woodsmoke Court, Tomahawk, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, March 17th, at her home under the care of her husband, Ray,  and Ministry Home Hospice.

Bernie was born May 3, 1934 in Chicago to Nick and Helen (Latkowski) Brodzinski. She married Raymond G. Payne on November 29, 1974 also in Chicago. She had worked at Oak Park Hospital in the medical records department.  Bernie and Ray moved to the Tomahawk area 1990 because of her love for snowmobiling. She also enjoyed 4 wheeling, feeding the wildlife in her backyard, and flower gardening.

Survivors include:

            Husband,                             Ray Payne

            3 Daughters,                       Terry (Dave) Pierce                       Indiana

                                                        Mary (Jim) Wrzesinski                  Illinois

                                                        Jean Marie (Ed) Pipenhagen       Illinois

            She is further survived by 2 grandchildren, Nathan and Ian, and 5 step grandchildren, Branden, Ashley, Justin, Neil and Mackenzie.

Funeral services for Bernie Payne will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
