Beth Anne Baus Connaway passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28th in Marietta, Georgia. She was 42 years old.
Beth is forever loved by her best friend & husband Michael, mother Dawn, brother Jed, sister Gretchen, father-in-law Mike, mother-in-law Linda, brother-in-law Matt, sister-in-law Faith, 4 adored nephews, D.J., Jack, Maxwell & Eli and her beloved dogs Eddy & Olive.
Beth is preceded in death by her father Dan.
Beth attended Tomahawk High School, received her bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee & master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, graduating at the top of her class.
One of Beth’s greatest joys was helping others & dedicated her life’s work to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Wisconsin, Illinois, Utah and Georgia. She helped so many patients begin their mental health journey.
Beth was always fueled by challenge and her approach to a rare cancer diagnosis was no exception. She left all that loved her a lesson in how to do hard things and to forever stay grounded in hope.
Beth was a lifelong lover of running, competing in two marathons, including crushing the New York City Marathon one year after her diagnosis.
Beth didn’t lose this race, she had so many wins; she won eternal life.
