Betty J. Lapearl

Betty Jo (Mueller) LaPearl, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on March 24, 2016. Born in Dodge City, Kansas on March 16 1928. She was proceeded in death by her husband Roy LaPearl, Jr and her brother, Robert Jean Mueller and niece, Cathryn Mueller.

Loving mother to Clifford LaPearl (Donna), Arieahn Matamonasa, Michele LaPearl, Nicole Beer (Bob) and a devoted grandmother to Jill, Mindy, Alex, Danny, Kaitlyn, Bobby, Ciara and Ryan. Great-Grandmother to Michael and Eric. Also a sister-in-law and lifetime friend to Marie Wagner, sister-in-law Christa Mueller and nephew Steven Wagner (Marilyn).

After moving to Hollywood, California as a young child, she spent her her time dancing, singing and playing the piano. She was an extra in the movie "Star Maker" with Bing Crosby. While raising her family in Bellwood, IL, she became very involved in PTA, School Board and the Art Enrichment Program at the elementary school. She was an excellent seamstress, making many clothes, costumes and dolls for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing cards, antiquing and was an avid DIY'er.

The second half of her life was spent devoting all her time, energy and love to her grandchildren. The last two years were spent living at One Penny Place in Woodruff, WI and enjoying the Northwoods with her family.

A celebration of life will take place with her children and grandchildren in Illinois in the summer of 2016.
