Beverly J. Coller, age 91, of Woodruff, WI, died on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Beverly was born June 12, 1929 in the town of Springvale, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Ruth (nee Curtis) Schroeder. As a baby, she was baptized in the Lutheran faith and was later confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac, on April 18, 1943. She married LaVerne Coller in Fond du Lac on April 29, 1950.
During her many years in Fond du Lac, Bev was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She worked more than 30 years as the bookkeeper at Fond du Lac Stone Company. Following her retirement, Bev and LaVerne lived the summer months at their cottage on Lake Minocqua and the winter months at their Orlando, Florida condo. Following LaVerne's death on January 14, 1999, she moved back to Fond du Lac. In March 2003, she moved again to the Minocqua area where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an active volunteer at the St. Mathias Thrift Shop and crocheted countless lap robes for donation in the community. In addition to God, her family and her many long-time and good friends, she loved the Green Bay Packers and attended many home games over the years, (including the Ice Bowl) as she had secured two season tickets in the early 1960's which are still held in the family today.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gary Grapentine, Minocqua, and her sister Jean Carolan, Beaver Dam. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tamara and Dan Stevenson, Ripon, and Scott Grapentine (Aimee Jones), Arbor Vitae, who she loved dearly and felt blessed to have them in her life. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne, on January 14, 1999, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey and Lyle Dilts, Vanice and Gordon Jacobs, Don Carolan, and her Godson, Gary Dilts.
