Brian J. Groshek, 51, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at his home. Brian was born September 26, 1970 in Stevens Point to Ronald and Marilyn (Metke) Groshek. He grew up in the Middleton area later attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison earning a Bachelors in Business. For the past 18 years he had been employed by the State of Wisconsin as an appraiser. Brian was an incredibly caring and compassionate person and landlord. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the north woods while visiting his parents. Brian also collected much sought after comic books. Surviving Brian Groshek are his parents - Ron and Marilyn Groshek of Tomahawk; One Brother - Jeffrey (Kelly) Groshek of Plymouth, MA; and a nephew - Nasin Groshek. He is further survived by his aunt & uncle – Jim & Ginger Groshek of Stevens Point and cousin and Godson – Joe (Allie) Groshek. A Mass of Christian Burial for Brian Groshek will be offered on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 12:00PM from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Marram Reddy will officiate. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Church from 11:00AM until the time of Mass at noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to American Diabetes Association and St. Vincent DePaul of Naples, FL. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
