Bruce L. Roberts, age 56, W4001 Oak View, Tomahawk, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in the Town of Spirit.
Bruce was born December 27, 1957 in Tomahawk, the son of Lyle and Ceil (Van Harpen) Roberts. He married Terri Nelson on May 29, 1993 in Spirit. Bruce was employed as a millwright with PCA Tomahawk Mill for over 30 years. He was formerly employed as a surveyor, the City of Tomahawk, and Harley-Davidson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, elk hunting trips out west, motorcycling, back country skiing, and traveling. Bruce loved competition and sports, and took special enjoyment in scaring people. Most important and number one to Bruce in all things was his family.
Survivors include: wife, Terri Roberts, of Tomahawk; parents, Lyle and Ceil Roberts, of Tomahawk; children, Zach (Tabitha) Roberts, of Mosinee, Lacy (Justin) Ternes, of Wales; siblings, Brent (Lisa) Roberts, of Tomahawk, Brian (Dawn) Roberts, of Tomahawk, Dee (Andy) Bartz, of Tomahawk. Bruce is further survived by two grandchildren, with two more due in April.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bruce Roberts will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Father John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery in the Town of Spirit.
