Bunsen Gipple

Bunsen Gipple, 88, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Oconto Falls. Bunsen was born January 8, 1937 in Merrill, the son of Edwin and Dorothy (Plautz) Gipple. He was united in marriage to Joan Fleischfresser January 17, 1959 in Merrill and she preceded him in death in October of 2008.

Bunsen worked at the Paper Mill where he retired in 1999

Surviving are his daughter, Kim (Dean Wold) Chase, Oconto; grandchild, Brian (Katie) Chase and great-grandchildren, Molly and Nolan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan; son, Kerry Gipple; brothers, Edwin “Burr” Gipple, 2 infant brothers and a sister-in-law, Marlene.

Honoring Bunsen wishes there will be no services.
