BUTCH BROWN
Allen Warren “Butch” Brown, 74, Phillips, Town of Emery, died in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on February 24, 1943. He was married to Linda Wieting in Milwaukee on September 15, 1962. He was employed as an Operating Engineer by Globe Contractors of Pewaukee. He retired in 2002, and in 2003 he and Linda moved to Price County to the Town of Emery.. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, gardening, canning, woodswork, and doing mechanical work.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; by two sons, Scott A., Phillips, and John (Terri), Phillips; by two sisters, Judy (Roger) Voelker, Palmer Lake, Colorado, and Carol Gokee, Bayfield, WI; by one brother, William (Annette) Brown, Ashland, WI; by five grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsy, Kyle, Kendra, and Shawn; and by four great grandchildren, Hunter, Addison, Cheyenne, and Faith. He is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Charles Brown; and by one sister, Bonnie Berg.
