Carmella “Carm” E. Bainbridge, age 85, of Tomahawk passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020.
Carm was born on July 14, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Joseph & Helen Thomas. She was married to George Bainbridge on September 5, 1953 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Chicago. In 1986 George and Carm moved to Tomahawk permanently. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was involved in various church activities including the Thrift Cellar. Carm loved traveling, bowling, playing cards and bunko. She was an excellent gardener and could grow anything beautifully. Carm’s most cherished time was spent with her family.
Carm is survived by her children – Jean (Andre) Kliczak of Lodi, Jane (Tim) Callahan of Wonder Lake, IL, and Joseph (Chell) Bainbridge of Lodi; and three granddaughters – Kristi (Joe) Smith, Katie (James) White, and Amy (Troy Jonas) Thome. She is further survived by seven great grandsons and her beloved dog, Snickers. Carm is preceded in death by her parents and husband – George.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Carm Bainbridge will take place at 12:00PM at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, November 27, 2020. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Visitation will take place from 11:30AM until the time of Mass at 12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow Mass in Calvary Cemetery.
