Carol J. Joslin, 86, a long time town of Nokomis resident, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Tomahawk.
Carol was born on June 22, 1930 in Tomahawk to Joseph and Helen (Schufletowski) Obey. She was married to Ross Joslin on October 16, 1948 in Indiana. Ross passed away in 2005. Carol had been the cook at St. Mary Catholic School for 24 years. She and Ross enjoyed square dancing, snowmobiling, playing pool, and traveling. Carol also enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing cards and baking.

Carol is further survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Fr. Louis will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Rapids Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at noon. The Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
