Carol J. Steinbach, age 50, 17 W. River St., Tomahawk, passed away October 23, 2007 at her residence under hospice care. Carol was born February 5, 1957 in Milwaukee to Ned and Lois LaViolette. She married Jeff Steinbach on June 8, 1989 in Merrill; he survives. Carol grew up in the Milwaukee area, moving to Tomahawk in 1988. She was formerly employed with King's Bakery in Tomahawk and with Ames Mink Farm and Gillette Mink Farm. She enjoyed painting, needlework, listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Husband Jeff Steinbach of Tomahawk Parents Ned & Lois LaViolette of Pembine 1 Daughter Carrie (Roger Olson) Webie of Tomahawk 1 Step-Son Josh Roach of Phillips 1 Brother Dennis LaViolette of Pembine 2 Sisters Patti (Craig) Brengles of Rudolph Renee Niber of Tomahawk 2 Granddaughters Erica & Tiffany 1 Step-Granddaughter Funeral Services for Carol Steinbach will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of services at 3:00 p.m.
