Catherine L. Kelley, age 89, 125 S. 14th Ave., Wausau, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Cady Memorial Home in Wausau under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.
Kate was born on January 18, 1922 in Mosinee to the late George and Ann (Redmond) Riedel. She was united in marriage to John W. Kelley on July 10, 1948 in Tomahawk. Kate grew up in Tomahawk and was formerly employed at the Tomahawk Kraft Paper Mill. She and her husband had been residents of Wausau since 1951. Kate had served for many years as President of Central Wisconsin Aviation at the Mosinee airport. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Wausau.

Kate is further survived by 6 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Sisters (Irene, Marjorie, and Mary Ann), a brother (Robert).
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
