Catherine Redmond

Catherine "Kate" Redmond, age 82, N10604 Moodig Road, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Kate was born November 25, 1927 in Tomahawk, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Singer) Redmond. She was employed with Weyerhauser in Rothschild as an assistant personnel manager for over 40 years. She enjoyed crafting, painting, knitting, gardening, reading, horses, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Brothers Thomas Redmond Michael (Judy) Redmond Sister Marge Redmond all of Tomahawk Kate is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 2 infant sisters, and 1 infant brother. A Mass of Christian Burial for Kate Redmond will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11th at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk, with a Vigil Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
