Charles Bazatta

Charles Andrew Bazatta, 56, passed away May 6, 2024, at his home in Phillips, WI. Chuck was born August 20, 1967, to Clem and Millie (DeLasky) Bazatta. He graduated from Phillips High School in 1985 and later made his home with the love of his life, Diane Bouska, in Phillips.

Chuck enjoyed working on vehicles and was a mechanic at a few auto shops in Price County throughout his life as well as working in his home shop. He and Diane eventually moved to the home he grew up in. Besides auto repair, his hobbies included riding his Harley, attending the Tomah tractor pulls and monster truck shows, helping with mini rod pulls, grooming trails for the Chaparrals Snowmobile Club, and grilling steaks for friends, neighbors and family.

Chuck is survived by Diane Bouska; his sister, Kelly (Phil) Chapman of Phillips, WI; and niece's, Courtney Chapman of Wausau, WI and Katie (Joe) Harper of Watertown, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life and interment of ashes at Lakeside Cemetery, Phillips, WI, will be at a later date. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
