Charles E. Deitz, age 68, of 316A Menominee Street, Tomahawk passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Charlie was born on October 24, 1941 in Waupaca, Wisconsin to Edward and June Deitz. He was married to Patricia Troiber on May 1, 1978 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Pat preceded him in death in 2000. Charlie was a veteran of the US Air Force where he served as an airplane mechanic, following the service he was employed at Basler Flight Service at Wittman Field in Oshkosh. He moved to the Tomahawk area in 1972 and had worked at Payne Dolan as a truck driver, he also had worked at Tomahawk Sports Center, Northland Stainless, and Harley Davidson. Charlie was an avid Harley rider, he enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, traveling and cooking. He also loved his church, the Northland Bible Church and serving as its "maintenance man." Charlie especially loved spending time with his family.

Charlie is further survived by 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Dad, wife, Pat, and sister, Cindy.
Funeral Services for Charles Deitz will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Northland Bible Church. Pastor Alex Lindsay will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 10 am until the time of services at 11 a.m.
