Charles J. Renn, age 85, N10826 Cty. Rd. A, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk, under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.
Charles was born November 15, 1927 in Harrison, the son of Henry and Wilhelmina (Schoone) Renn. Charles grew up in Harrison, and later moved to Kaukauna, where he met his wife and love of his life over 62 years ago - Arlene Jane Fink. He and Arlene were married in Harrison on September 21, 1950. He was very proud of the fact that he raised his family in Harrison in the house he built. He and Arlene resided in Harrison until moving to Tomahawk in 1990. Charles was a carpenter and builder in the Tomahawk area for many years. He loved spending time at sporting events, going to auctions, and "supervising" any and all building projects in town. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk.

Charles is further survived by 30 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, with one more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters - Johanna Renn and Barbara Smith, and a brother - Butch Renn.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Renn will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow Mass at St. Augustine Cemetery in Harrison.
