Charlotte Dawn Collins

Charlotte “Dawn” Collins, 62 of N. Tomahawk Ave., Tomahawk passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Dawn was born November 2, 1956 in Indiana to James and Charlotte (Welsh) Cole. She was married to Terry Collins on August 12, 1978 in Osceola, Indiana, he passed away in 2010.

Dawn and Terry first founded Collins & Cole Acoustics, a light and sound company for high profile bands. They later owned and operated Collins Quality Cleaners in Tomahawk from 1985 to the present. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Church. Dawn was a genuine, hard working woman who instilled Godly values into the lives of her children. Her life will be celebrated and remembered as one filled with life’s lessons and love. She will be remembered daily by her family and many friends.

Surviving Dawn are her children, Terry “Tee” (Kaylyn) Collins, Tomahawk; Veronica (Ralph Kintzer) Rochow, Texas; Kymberley (Tyrone Roberts) Collins, Colorado; Pauline Collins, Maryland; and Natalie (Bradley) McCullough, Tomahawk. She is also survived by her Mother, Charlotte Cole-Holderread of Indiana, brother, James Cole, Jr., Indiana, and 12 grandchildren (Miah, Kolton, LeeAnn, Keagon, Carmyn, Tyson, Ralphie, Raistlin, Emma, William, Hailey, and Emily.) Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, dad, a brother- Thomas (Robin) Cole, nephew- Nathaniel Cole, and her step dad- Kenneth Holderread.

Memorial Services for Dawn Collins will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Krueger Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
