Christine I. Edlund

Christine Ida Edlund, age 72 of Woodruff, WI passed over on Sunday December 15, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Chris was born to the late Melvin “Bud” and Patricia Allen on June 12, 1947.

Christine grew up in the town of Evansville, WI before moving to Boulder Junction in 1971 where she owned the Deer Path Bar and Resort on Upper Gresham Lake for 7 years. After selling the resort, Chris and her husband Ken remained in Boulder Junction until 1991 when they returned to Christine’s hometown of Evansville. Recently, they returned to the Northwoods and settled in Woodruff.

Christine enjoyed gardening, making crafts, golfing, reading, playing bingo, fishing and watching the Packers. She especially loved her family and spending time with them.
Christine is survived by her husband of 36 years Kenneth Edlund, daughter Briana (Scott) Marston, son Michael Jolin, granddaughters Kendra and Ashley Marston, her brothers Terry (Diane) Allen, Thomas (Mary) Allen, Robert (Joanne) Allen and Charles (Rochelle) Allen. Chris also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and her two dogs Lippy and Echo.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin “Bud” and Patricia Allen.

Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced in the Spring.
