Claudia M. Wagner

Claudia M. Wagner, 92, of Phillips, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center, WI. Her heart full of love for her family just stopped beating. Fierce were her beliefs and her love for God. Claudia was born on July 8, 1932, to Claude and Mary (Schweich) Denn, in Hastings, MN. 

She married Bud Wagner in the St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Frederic, WI, on June 14, 1952.

Claudia is survived by her children, Katherine (Tim) Hutchson, Mary Fran (Tim) Derner, Carolyn (Tony) Bonanno, Mike (Linda) Wagner, and Anne (John) Baxter; grandchildren, Robert and James (Rick), Kyle, Megan, and Ashley (Kathy), Aaron and Ethan (Mary), Anne and Lydia (Carolyn), Zach and Maggie (Mike), Hannah and Cecely (Anne); and great-grandchildren, Chase, Avie, Cayden, Teddy, and Charlie; numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud; son, Richard; parents; and her 10 siblings. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 655 S. Lake Ave, Phillips, WI 54555. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the time of the Mass at the church. Inurnment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Winter, WI. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
