Clifford J Timmers

Clifford J. Timmers, 90, of Kennan, WI, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Clifford was born on July 9, 1933, to Mathias and Florence (Jensen) on a farm North of Kennan.

Clifford married Rosalie Jean Moksnes on September 15, 1956, in Saint Michaels Catholic Church. He enjoyed taking rides with Rosalie on Sunday and attending church service. He loved homemade pies, pork chops, hot weather and an occasional rum & coke. He took great pride in and worked hard to have a beautiful lawn and home. Clifford was always the last one to leave the church as he would enjoy staying to talk to family and friends. He liked rollercoasters and roller skating. He worked construction in Milwaukee, driving a bulldozer, and even shared a few beers with the baseball players from the Milwaukee Braves.  Clifford was a truck driver for Smester's, Norco Windows, and Mix-Rite Feedmill for over 40 years before retiring. After retirement he continued to help his son Dale with his trucking business. 

He is survived by his children, Dale (Terry), Clayton (Tina), Randy (Jamie), Brad (Tracy); grandchildren, Brandon, Grant, Kiley, Miranda, Brianna, Alyssa, and Erica; great-grandchildren, Kendra, Eva, Ryker, Brantley, Raelynn, Owen, Sophia, Ellis, Reed, Oliver, Rowan and Layla.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie; son, Terry; parents; and siblings, Matt Timmers, Florence Runnheim, and Marion Groothausen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, W9485 US-8, Catawba, WI 54515. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, with a Rosary Prayer Service beginning at 7 p.m. A visitation will also be held from 9 -11 a.m. prior to the Mass at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Kennan Cemetery, Kennan, WI. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
