Dale Gruendeman, age 86, N11445 Cty. Rd. A, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Colonial Manor in Wausau.
Dale was born March 26, 1926 in Boltonville, the son of Carl and Florence (Donath) Gruendeman. He married LaVerne Moldenhauer on July 30, 1948 in Kewauskum. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Dale worked for his father as a milk truck driver at the Boltonville Cheese Factory for many years. He later worked for 22 years as a foreman for Hunzinger Construction in Milwaukee. Dale vacationed in the Tomahawk area since 1962, and became a permanent resident in 1985. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and had a passion for woodworking. He was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Dale is further survived by a granddaughter - Jasmine, 5 step grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services with Military Rites for Dale Gruendeman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Dan Solofra will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15th at Boltonville Cemetery in Boltonville.
