Dale Lensert, age 77, of Tomahawk passed away on November 26, 2021 at Friendly Village in Rhinelander under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice.
Dale was born on August 12, 1944 in Milwaukee to Fred & Grace (Pease) Lensert. He was married to Gayle Lindstrom at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Dale worked for the DNR in the Game Division. He served as the Game Warden near Crandon for a short time. He also was the owner of D&L Drywall & Construction Company. Dale loved hunting, especially raccoons and deer. He also was an avid gardener, growing many vegetables and fruits.
Dale is survived by his wife – Gayle; daughter – Kerrie (Robin) Gaedtke of Tomahawk; two sons – Kurt Lensert of Burnsville, MN and Kevin (Olena) Lensert of Sun Prairie; 6 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren. Dale is preceded in death by his parents and brother – Gary Lensert of Wyoming.
Dale’s family will be celebrating his life privately at a later date.
