Daniel P. Andreachi, age 61, passed away on April 25, 2017 at Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice House in Wausau.
Dan was born on November 11, 1955 in Queens, New York. He served our country for 3 years with the US Army. Dan married Charlotte Varga on January 2, 1999 in Tomahawk. Dan worked in the HVAC industry, first with Quality Furnace in Merrill and later with Zuelsdorff Plumbing & Heating in Wausau. He also was a chef for many years. Dan loved casinos and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a very compassionate person who had an amazing sense of humor.
Dan was an avid Wisconsin Sports fan. He loved watching the Brewers, Badgers, Bucks and Packers. In honor of him, everyone is encouraged to wear your favorite sports apparel to the visitation and funeral.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Char Andreachi; daughter, Tanya Frederick, of Mosinee; step-son, Toby (Teresa Brown) Sontag, of Tomahawk. He is further survived by his brothers, Chet Andreachi & Mike Channing, both of Coeur d Alene, Idaho; sisters; Lynn Wozniczka, of Lyndon Station and Melissa Green, of Loganville, WI; niece & nephews, Patrick, Mary & Steve; 2 special nieces, Ericka Channing & Megan Dixon; 3 Grandchildren, Damion, Piper, Dakota; and 1 step grandson, Royce. Dan is preceded in death by his mom, Harriet Barrows.
The Funeral Service with Military Honors for Dan will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Pastor Debra Hastings will officiate. Visitation will take place from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
