Darlene Papish

Darlene G. Papish, age 75 of Lac du Flambeau, WI died on Thursday, July 18th at her residence. Darlene was born on May 7, 1938 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Earl and Gertrude (nee Peterson) Cross Sr. She is survived by 2 Sons: Gary (Jaime) Gilbert of Lac du Flambeau, WI and Dennis (Susan) Gilbert of Minneapolis, MN and Daughter, Shari Gilbert of Minneapolis, MN. Further survived by 2 Brothers: Bill (Julienne) Cross of Lac du Flambeau, WI and James Cross of Hayward, WI and by 6 Grandchildren and by 4 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by 3 Brothers: Earl Jr., Charles and Ervin and by 3 Sisters: Virginia, Joyce and Lulu. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 21st starting at 4:00 PM at the Multi-Purposing Building with Traditional Native American Services being performed till Monday, July 22nd and then burial at Memorial Cemetery in Lac du Flambeau, WI.
