David H. Diver

David H. Diver, age 75 of Lac du Flambeau, WI died on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. David was born on March 29, 1938 in Hayward, WI the son of Francis and Marion (nee LaBarge) Diver. David worked over 20 plus years at Peter Christensen and enjoyed the time he spent on the Tribal Council. David enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved to garden and work on small engines. He was a very loving Husband, Father and Grandfather; his greatest joy was his grandkids. David was a very avid Green Bay Packer fan. He survived by his wife, Dawn (nee Chapman) Diver and his Children: David Diver Jr., Paul (Liza) Diver, George Diver, Sanome Wheelock Jr., Sarah (Charlie) Carufel, Dawn (Donald) Pawlak, Sherelle Wheelock, Carrie Wayman, Maya Poupart Taber nad by 16 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren and further survived by his Brother, Donovan Diver and Sisters: Geraldine (Mike) Sweo and Karen Street and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marion Diver, Brothers; Russell, Richard, Leonard, Phillip, Kenneth and Bernard and his Sisters: Rudy, Ardetta, Lorraine, Judy and Margaret. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Multi-Purpose Building in Lac du Flambeau, WI starting at 4:00 PM and Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lac du Flambeau, WI.
