David Krueger

David E. Krueger, age 67, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Geneva, Ohio. Dave was born October 23, 1946 in Merrill, the son of Emil and Jane (Stachowiak) Krueger. He recently married his companion for the past 16 years - Linda Welker on April 8, 2014 in Geneva, Ohio. Dave was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and served in Vietnam. He worked for Owens-Illinois/PCA Tomahawk Mill for almost 30 years before moving to Ohio in 1998. He was a former member of the Tomahawk Fire Department and St. Mary Catholic Church. Dave loved hunting and horses, and was active with the Lincoln County Rodeo. Survivors include: wife, Linda Krueger, of Geneva, Ohio; parents, Emil and Jane Krueger, of Tomahawk; children, Travis (Melissa) Krueger, of Antigo, Kristin Beck, of Merrill; step children, Paul Welker, of Ohio, Ted Welker, of Ohio; siblings, Jim Krueger, of Tomahawk, Jan (Dick) Huseby, of Tomahawk, Julie Mielke, of Tomahawk, John (Kari) Krueger, of Tomahawk. Dave is further survived by five grandchildren. Funeral Services for David E. Krueger will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Father John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 Am until the hour of Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial with Military Honors will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
