.Dawn K. “Dawnie” Diver, age 71 of Lac du Flambeau, WI died on Wednesday, November 1st at Ascension St. Clares Hospital in Weston, WI. Dawn was born on July 26, 1946 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Clyde and Sarah (nee Poupart) Chapman Sr. Dawn worked for Simpson Electric for many years and she loved to fish, hunt, bowling and cooking and traveling. She also enjoyed to read and bead and play solitary and especially loved being a Grandma.
She is survived by her Children: Sarah Diver, David Diver Jr., Annette Durant, Paul (Liza) Diver and Dawn (Donald) Diver Pawlak and Grandchildren: Sanome Wheelock Jr., Sherelle Wheelock, Sarah Pawlak, Gilbert Lyons, Dakotah Carufel, Charles Carufel, Tayler Diver, Erica Diver, George Diver Jr., Cale Diver, Vicky Diver, Georgia Diver, Cheskaye Martin, Ira Frank and Harvey Frank and by 18 Great Grandchildren and further survived by her Siblings: Mary Mann, Leon Chapman Sr., Louise Chapman Wilke, Jane Chapman St. Germain and Rosetta Chapman Martin and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, David H. Diver Sr., and son, George Diver Sr., and her parents; Clyde and Sarah Chapman Sr. and by Brothers and Sisters: Clyde Chapman Jr., Lyle Chapman Sr., Marita Chapman Claassen, Dale Chapman, Sharon Chapman Wewasson and by Step-Daughter; Lavonne Frank.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church followed by burial at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 5th at Lac du Flambeau Multi-Purpose Building starting at 4:00 PM
