Dean Brian Zastrow

Dean “Deano” or “Sr. Squirrel” Brian Zastrow, age 53 of Presque Isle, WI passed away on Saturday, November 25^th at his residence.  Dean was born on January 23, 1970, in Watertown, WI the son of Dale and Linda (Lee) Zastrow.  Dean graduated from Watertown High School and UW-Platteville.  He married Lynn Marie Simons on November 6, 1993.

Dean was a retired Director of Operations at Generac Power Systems in Oshkosh, WI.  Dean was very involved with the Boulder Junction Snowmobile Club grooming trails and the Boulder Junction ATV Club and the Winegar Riders ATV Club.  He enjoyed all that the Northwoods offered; snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and riding his Harley.  Dean could fix anything and was an avid collector of Hamm’s Beer memorabilia and loved his pets.

He is survived by his wife Lynn Marie Zastrow and is further survived by his Father Dale Zastrow, his Aunt Connie (Hugh) Lenox, Uncle Lane (Karen) Zastrow, Mother-in-law Eileen (Bill) Rex, Brother in law Gregg (Kris) Simons, special nephews Mike (Chelsey) Simons, Dan (Meghan) Simons and Anthony Simons and by special cousins Darin (Terry) Petrowski, Jason (Megan) Londerville, Elizabeth Richter and by his Siberian Huskies: Sasha Bear, Maya and Jasper and his huge cats: Buddy, Caden and Yeti

Dean was preceded in death by his mother Linda Zastrow and by his Grandparents Elmer and Janette Lee and Lloyd and Elaine Zastrow and his Aunt Rita Campanile, Father-in-law Larry Simons, Brother-in-law Scott Simons and Uncle Gary Lee.

Celebration of Life for Dean will be held on Sunday, December 3^rd from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Boulder Junction Community Center, 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction, WI 54512.
