Delbert Lillrose, age 96, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Delbert was born October 31, 1916 in Mesa, Arizona, the son of John and Mary (Piper) Lillrose. He married Cornelia 'Connie' Kostuck on May 7, 1949 in Milwaukee. Delbert was a supervisor and foreman with Inland Steel in Menomonee Falls for many years. He also worked for the Parks Department for the City of Wausau for ten years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in WWII with the 3rd Air Division. Delbert enjoyed going to his cottage and fishing on Burroughs Lake.
Delbert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Connie Lillrose of Tomahawk. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother - Raymond Lillrose, and sister - Elaine Anderson.
In accordance with Delbert's wishes, no services will be held.
