Diane R Petrowski

Diane Rae Petrowski, age 81 of Minocqua, WI died on Saturday, February 18th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Diane was born on January 28, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Joseph and Mary (nee Smith) Ostrowski. She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee. She married Herbert Arthur Petrowski on April 30, 1955. Diane worked at many places in the Lakeland area lastly at Book World.
Diane was a member of the “Sweet Adeline’s” a singing group; she loved to sing and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed bowling, poker club, jigsaw puzzles, books and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her Children: Mark Petrowski, Scott (Lori) Petrowski, Susan (Michael) Comp, Rick (Sheryl) Petrowski, Nancy (Daniel Creedon) Petrowski, David Petrowski, Andrew (Mandy) Petrowski and Mari Hicks and by 19 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Further survived by her Sisters: Patricia (Paul) Puerling, Jane Dodds and Judith Acompando and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her Parents; Joseph and Mary Ostrowski and Husband, Herbert Petrowski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Woodruff, WI in the spring.
