Dianne M. Wheeler, 75, N9128 Jaecks Road, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, June 6, 2013. Dianne was born on December 17, 1937 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Alvin and Ruth (Rosensprung) Streich. She was united in marriage to Frederick Wheeler on June 28, 1957 in Beaver Dam. Fred and Dianne moved many times during their marriage, settling on the Spirit Flowage in Tomahawk in 1992. Dianne enjoyed movies, pontoon boat rides, motorcycling, cats, and her church. She was a very generous and giving woman. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Wheeler, Tomahawk, son, Jeff Wheeler, Dousman, daughter, Linda (Robert) Unger, Shawano, brother, John (Gail) Streich, Great Falls, Montana. Dianne is further survived by four grandchildren, Bailey, Hannah, Jessica, and Stephanie, and five great grandchildren, Conrad, Demitri, Leonardo, Sophia, and Dominic.
Funeral Services for Dianne Wheeler will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11th at the Burnett Union Cemetery in Burnett, Wisconsin.
