Donald A. Loos

Donald A. Loos, age 79 of Minocqua, WI passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI.

 He was a graduate of Sterling High School and a 4th generation plumber in his family’s plumbing & heating business in Sterling, Ill. Don served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

 He is survived by his wife Susan (Killian) Loos, a son Daniel (Penny) Loos of San Tan Valley, AZ; a daughter Jennifer Loos and grandson, Samuel of Woodruff, WI; two step-grandsons Matt and Kris and by 3 brothers Jim (Diane) Loos of St. Louis, MO; Arlyn Loos of Cypress, TX; and Ed (Pat) Loos of Sterling, IL and many terrific nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Arlene Loos, a brother Steve Loos, a sister-in-law Lyna Loos, and a nephew Jeff Loos.

 Upon his wishes cremation took place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held in Sterling, IL in the spring.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Don to your local hospice organization.
